We're Getting Married!

On March 25th, 2017, a mutual friend was having an art show that we both coincidentally were at. That night we bumped into a conversation in a mix of mutual friends where we both learned our birthday's had just passed. I mentioned to Myron that I worked on the night of my 21st birthday and he gathered a crowd of people to celebrate me down at the oceanfront at a bar called Calypso. By the night's end, he asked for my number and we set up a brunch date for the very next day. From that Sunday on, we landed here and have never been apart.

It was a Friday and Myron collaborated with Kayla to help get my nails done after work, but clueless me declined the offer because I was not in the mood. Once I got home, Myron informed me we are going on a date night which is typical for us. We got ready and headed down to Waterside which has beautiful outdoor seating and a few bars. We sat and ordered a drink and all of a sudden Kayla appeared from out of the blue, again very typical for Kayla to be our third wheel. We were sitting enjoying our food and drinks and watching the band play almost in a perfect view. Myron was very nervous and antsy and kept getting up to go to the restroom and all I kept thinking "what is wrong with him?!" (lol) Finally, Myron grabs my hand for what I thought was a dance and starts whispering in my ear "You know how much I love you right" all the other words I couldn't process because now my brain was in shock mode after I've waited for this moment for 5 years... he got down on one knee and the obvious answer was YES!
