Bar Louie
On Kevin and Clovers first date, Kevin had planned to take her to a beautiful restaurant in Downtown and try to impress her. Unfortunately that plan fell through when they were closed for a private event! So off to Bar Louie they went, and she was just as impressed with him. Here Kevin had his first martini - Ironically - called the "Clover"! They've said the wings and the burgers are a must and highly recommend trying a "Clover" martini.
Cheyenne Mountain Zoo
This is fun even for adults. Walking through here you get a chance to relax, have a beer and feed a giraffe or two. You would be surprised at how many adults go with or with out their kiddos. I know, we thought it sounded like a good time too, go have fun!
Red Rock Canyon Open Space
One of Clover and Kevin's first hikes was down one of the trails that led to Red rock open space. They hiked Mid December in the snowy mountains. Even in October it can get brisk up there so pack in layers and find a good hiking stick!
Garden Of The Gods
Feeling touristy? Want to see what everyone else see's in Colorado? Garden of the Gods is a fun hike.
Manitou Springs Penny Arcades
This is hoot and a holler! Right across the street the have margaritas the size of your face, its recommended to share a margarita then walk over to the arcades and spend all that extra change you've got! Keep in mind, you'll want to play for the fun of the vintage and new games - NOT the prizes which are usually fairly horrible.
Breckenridge Brewery
Coming down from Denver after a long flight, this is one of my favorite places to have a flight. Some of Clover and Kevins favorites come from this local brewery!
Pikes Peak Brewing Company
One of the best local places for date night, they have never had a beer they didn't like from Pikes Peak, it comes highly recommended. Take some time, drink a pint and play some board games!
The Promenade Shops At Briargate
Just minutes walk from our home, it's a fun place to spend an afternoon. Kevin and Clover really enjoy walking the shops and get a bite to eat at Ted's Montana Grill. It has their favorite bison burgers!
The Rabbit Hole
They've spent every New Years Eve here since they met. The food is amazing, the drinks are phenomenal, but you haven't lived until you've been down a rabbit hole.
