Travel Note
Please note that there is two different kinds of Amtrak you can book, the Acela and the Northeast Regional. The Acela -A faster trip with fewer stations stops -ONLY Business class and First class seats -Seat selection (choose where you will be sitting in advance) The Northeast Regional -More station stops -Coach class, or Business class seats (typically a cheaper ticket) -For Coach seats, you can not select your exact seat in advance, you just book a general seat and it is first come first serve -Seating with at least 39 inches of legroom Regardless of which you choose, there is complimentary WiFi, outlets for your devices, storage space for luggage above all seating, and adjustable lighting and tray tables. There are bathrooms located at either the front or the back of each car. The Cafe car offers hot and cold beverages, muffins, sandwiches, salads, snacks, etc. In the Quiet car, cell phones are silent and conversation is kept to a minimum and a whisper. Do not mistakenly sit in the Quiet car if you plan on chatting. All passengers are asked to use earphones or headphones for sound-emitting devices to be courteous. TIP: People from Boston, I recommend choosing a left side seat on the train if you want beautiful water views, choose a right side seat if you want to see an awesome view of the New York city skyline.
