We found each other in the most cliche way of the 21st century, Tinder. For those of you who don't know, Tinder is an online dating app that allows you to swipe left or right based on your interest in the other person's photo. Fast forward to June 24th 2016, per Rachel, Amanda locked the car doors after their first “official” date and quizzed her on her birthday. When Rachel answered correctly, Amanda propositioned dating exclusively and the rest was history.

After traveling for about eight weddings that summer, we were getting home from an out of town weekend. Upon entering the house Amanda saw that the dogs were out of their crates, which they never are, and they both had something on them. It's then that Amanda noticed Nia's bandana said "Will you marry mommy?" and Bear's said "Ring Bear". Rachel was so choked up and nervous, she never actually asked, Amanda just said yes and cried.
