Weather in February in Golden, Colorado can range from 65 degrees and sunny down to the teens and snowy. Unlike the higher mountains, the front range stays more mild throughout the winter and snow tends to melt quickly. That said, please be sure to check the weather ahead of your trip and plan accordingly. Even if it's unseasonably warm during the day, it will be chillier at night. Please note that some elements of the wedding will be held outside, so we ask that you bring a jacket and any other appropriate attire.
The wedding will be held at Boettcher Mansion on Lookout Mountain at an elevation of 7,377 feet, about 2,000 feet higher than Denver. While you're unlikely to experience altitude sickness, if you're coming from sea level, you may get winded more easily when dancing and find that drinks feel stronger than they usually do. We recommend staying hydrated and moderating alcohol consumption accordingly.
