Fox Meadows Creamery
Connor and I went here together after meeting for the first time. We got ice cream and sat on the back deck. I paid him $1 to eat a fly after he caught it in mid air.
Governor Dick Observation Tower
Connor took me here on one of our first dates. We hiked for a bit and then climbed up the tower where he asked me to be his girlfriend officially.
The Restaurant at Oregon Dairy
This place has lots of memories. Connors grandpa is one of the owners of this grocery store/ restaurant/ ice cream place. That being said, we get special permission to do lots of things. Connor and I have gone swimming, ice skating, 4 wheeling, even hold and pet the animals. Now what you can do here is eat at the restaurant, pet the animals, go shopping at the gift shop or grocery store. There is always a lot to do there and its a beautiful place to watch the sunset down by the pond.
The Butterfly Atrium at Hershey Gardens
If you know me you know I love butterflies. Connor surprised me by taking me here for my 18th birthday. Theres a beautiful indoor, tropical butterfly atriums followed by outdoor gardens. It costs $10 a person but is so worth it.
Chickies Rock Overlook Trail
This is a beautiful place to watch the sunset with a view over the susquehanna river. This location has options for a long or short hike to the outlook. Connor and I have gone here multiple times. Once we were there and a complete stranger asked to take our pictures because he enjoys photography. Turns out he was a friend of one of my friends.
Lititz
Downtown Lititz got voted the cutest small town in America in 2013. There are so many cute shops along with great restraints and a park. Connor and I have so many memories in this small town.
Kitchen Kettle Village
If you are looking for cute stores, this is the place. We have gone here a few times and we always have so much fun even if all we do is window shop. If you do go make sure to go to the store Ten Thousand Villages!
Coffee Co - Lancaster
This is one of my parents favorite places to eat. They have amazing drinks along with great lunch food! Highly recommend their hot chocolate.
White Cliffs of Conoy
This is a beautiful place to visit. It's an essay paved hike to these beautiful white cliffs overlooking the river. Your shoes will get white! Connor and I have gone multiple times and love it every time. If you go during sunset the cliffs will look amazing.
The Green Dragon Market
Green Dragon got voted one of the best farmers markets one year. It's opened every Friday. Connor and I love walking around here looking at all the different stands. If you go, you have to get the pretzel sandwiches! Its a place called Rosanne's Stuffed Pretzels located in building 6. We have gotten a lot of people hooked on these sandwiches.
Bulls Head
Bulls Head has great drinks and pub fare. According to Alex (Clinton) it is a great place for beer in a proper English pub setting. How about instead of Clinton in parentheses. You put “Alex Clinton the great, wonderful, and magnificent brother of the bride”- Alex
Blue Marsh National Recreation Area
I love this place. There is a hiking trail around the lake with a roped off swimming spot so bring your swim suit! I have gone here a many times with friends and Connor. Its our favorite place to swim and the sunset is always amazing.
Washington
This is about a 2 hour drive give or take from my house. The museums are so amazing down there. I love history and that place is full of it. I defiantly recommend if you are up for the drive and have never been.
Baltimore
This is about 1 hour 20 min drive give or take. Baltimore is defiantly a fun place to visit. Connor and I went to the Aquarium down there is it was amazing. We had so much fun. Its $35 and take 2-3 hours to walk through. There are also shops on the Inner Harbor with restaurants.
Lancaster Central Market
Central Market is a great place to walk around. They have numerous stands including bakeries, farm fresh fruits and veggies, deli, flowers, hand made items, etc. There is a great tea stand called Kari’s Tea Bar that i'm obsessed with and is a must visit if you go.
