ZANDRA'S DIARY: It was an eventful January evening in 2018 when I walked down the stairs at my sister’s housewarming party in IMO State. I noticed a handsome stranger waiting for me. He introduced himself with a charming smile and we exchanged a few pleasantries. I was taken aback by his warm demeanor, but I couldn’t linger for long as I had to attend to other guests. Before parting ways, he asked, and I hesitantly shared contacts as I thought to myself, ‘Ahh nah them😀, Yankee guys looking for a good time. I didn’t expect to hear from him again, and as time passed, I forgot about the encounter altogether. Fast-forward to August 2019, I received a friend request from the same stranger on Facebook. I was curious, wondering what had brought him back into my path. As we reconnected online, our conversations flowed effortlessly, and I discovered that we had a deep connection. We talked about our dreams, aspirations, and values, and I found myself drawn to his kind and compassionate nature. Little did I know this chance reconnection would be the start of something special- a beautiful journey of love, growth, and adventure together. We had our moments, but through constant prayers and communication with God, we were able to overcome every obstacle and make our relationship perfect. With God at the center; all things were made possible.

Clinton's Diary When I saw her for the very first time, I was captivated by her beauty. I approached her, and in a gentlemanly voice, I drew her attention with a charming “Hello, pretty one.” She responded back with a “Hi, good evening, sir.” I knew right away that there was something really good about that gracious evening. It was at a housewarming event for her brother-in-law, Chief Emereonye, and her big sister, but instead of fully concentrating on the occasion, my mind was completely divided. I ended up getting her number before leaving the event. Fast-forward: I returned to the States and resumed work and studies. Then, my libra zodiac traits set in and it would take me some months of reasoning why I shouldn’t make any mistake. All along, I had searched through her sister’s Facebook timeline, found her, and been sneaking into her profile. Around August 2019, I sent her a friend request. As God would have it, we reconnected back. As we started talking, I discovered that her beauty was more than skin-deep. Her kindness, intelligence, and infectious confident smiles captivated me even more. With each passing moment, I felt a connection growing between us. I knew I wanted to spend more time with her and for the rest of my life. But then, the pandemic struck, and I was stuck on the other side of the world. We kept in touch through Calls, silly videos, and recipe swaps, but I couldn't wait to get back to her. Once the opportunity came, I traveled back, and to her surprise, I asked the most important question, "Will you marry me," She was taken aback, but a huge grin spread across her face as she said, "Yes!" And just like that, I swooped in and completed all the traditional marriage rites (as I do not want to hear story lol). Here we are to continue our celebration of true love in the presence of God, our families, friends, and well-wishers till death do us part.
