Welcome We can’t wait to celebrate with you!

On January 11, 2016 We met at a friends house following a celebration. We laughed and talked as a group for hours. It seemed at first that Mo had his eye on someone else, but it didn’t take him long to let it be known exactly where his interest were. After repeatedly declining to go on a date and exchange phone numbers I finally gave in. We set a date a week later.

Our initial plans for a date fell through, so we rescheduled for the following day. Mo was preparing for deployment at the time so our date started pretty late. We both went into the date with little expectations. He was deploying in three days and I had sworn off dating for all of 2016. To our surprise we had the best date anyone could have. We sat across from each other talking for hours, never touching our phones. The date ended earlier than either of us would have liked it to but we said our goodbyes. (No goodnight kiss) On my drive home I called up Marichell to tell her, “I think I had just had dinner with my husband.”

Two days after our first date I drove to Lemoore to say goodbye. We had stayed on the phone all night, until the morning. After that long conversation and the memory of that amazing date, I had to see him again. Sleep deprived and all, I made the drive to Lemoore. We hung out briefly and said our final goodbyes (with a kiss this time) 😘. Not actually knowing whether we’d ever speak again.

On September 28, 2017 during a waterfront dinner in Sacramento California to celebrate my college graduation, Mo got down on one knee in front of our friends family and asked me to marry him.
