Question
What should I wear?
Answer
The attire for our event is Texas semi-formal. We ask ladies who plan to wear a dress to choose a style that is knee-length or longer, and to please refrain from wearing shades of white or cream. Men may wear boots, slacks or starched jeans with a pressed button-up, and a hat if you wish (we just ask that it be taken off for the ceremony!)

Where are the wedding events happening?
Answer
Our ceremony will take place at First United Methodist Church in Gainesville, Texas. Immediately following the ceremony, cocktail hour will take place on the covered patio (weather-permitting) at the 5T Wedding & Event Center in Whitesboro, Texas. The reception will take place inside the venue following cocktail hour. There is a 12-minute drive from the church to the venue.

Can I bring a guest?

We kindly ask that you only bring a guest if listed on your invitation.

Are kids allowed?

The children listed on your invitation’s RSVP are more than welcome to join us for the evening!

Will there be an open bar?
Answer
Yes - beer, wine, and several soda options will be provided at both cocktail hour and the reception. There will be no mixed cocktails or liquor available. Outside liquor, beer, and wine are prohibited.

Is there transportation available?
Answer
Our reception will take place off of Highway-82 in Whitesboro, TX. This is a very rural area with no public transportation and no Uber or Lyft! It is important that you get home safely - we ask that you make travel arrangements ahead of time if you plan on drinking at the reception.
