As a reminder, please RSVP by March 1, 2024 so that we can finalize preparations in time for the big day. Also, while we love everyone's kids, we're not able to accommodate children who aren't in the wedding. Clint and Tamar's paths crossed in 2015 when Clint was working for a skeeball company, and Tamar was studying for the LSAT. Clint’s coworkers invited him to lunch with their college friend, Tamar. Clint reluctantly agreed, assuming he was meeting one of their fraternity brothers. To his very pleasant surprise, Tamar turned out to be a charming, beautiful woman. Tamar and Clint instantly bonded over their love for San Francisco, the Giants, and shared experiences growing up in the City. They dated for just under a year. But when law school and life seemed to be in the way, they went their separate ways. After about a year long hiatus, the two found each other again at a mutual friend’s party. After a few months of “will they, won’t they,” and as everyone except Tamar could have predicted, they got back together. They moved in together in 2020 and have been enjoying life by the ballpark with their pup, Penny, ever since!

Toward the end of 2022, Tamar suspected a proposal might be coming. Meanwhile, Clint was already thinking about when and how to ask her the most important question he had ever asked. He agonized over the best time to ask: on vacation in Hawaii? On her 30th birthday? Christmas? When asked for her advice, Clint’s sister sagely told him, “If you don't propose in Hawaii, she might not be there for Christmas." That made Clint’s decision pretty easy. He'd propose in Hawaii. In early December, the two went to Maui and had the most magical time, swimming with sea turtles, going to luaus, and taking in the beautiful island. Each night increasingly became the perfect night to propose...but Clint held out. And with each passing day, Tamar wondered whether he’d ever ask. Clint had a plan. He wanted to propose at the end of their journey on the famed Road to Hana through flourishing rainforests, flowing waterfalls, plunging pools, and dramatic seascapes. The road was everything and more, but the Road to Hana manifests the old saying, "It's not the destination; it's the journey." Hana was….a small town, to say the least. After checking into their treehouse Airbnb, they looked up restaurants for dinner. Clint figured dinner at the highest-rated restaurant in Hana would be the perfect place to pop the question. When they arrived, they discovered it was a food truck. Rolling with the punches, Clint thought, "Okay, well, maybe take-out dinner on the beach will be better! Nothing more romantic than a beach." He was wrong. At the beach, the winds whipped across their faces as Clint and Tamar tried to eat while holding down the to-go boxes. The proposal was not going to plan. To salvage the night, Tamar and Clint grabbed a bottle of wine from the store for a night in at the Airbnb. The tree house Airbnb was in the middle of the rainforest with a wrap-around deck and hammock for star gazing. Tamar and Clint cuddled up in the hammock with the only light coming from the stars in the night sky. Clint knew at this moment that this was the time. While together in the hammock, Clint, heart pumping, reached into his pocket and asked Tamar if she would like to spend the rest of their lives together. When they called their families to share the exciting news, they responded: “Finally!" They returned home to their families and best friend/dog, Penny, to celebrate the good news and start planning!
