“I don’t know who that is, but dibs.” Those were the words that spilled out of Clint’s mouth the first time he ever laid eyes on Sarah. It was at a wedding (shout out to Cory and McKenzie Coggins) as she walked down the aisle with the other bridesmaids, I’d love to tell you they actually met that night, and that their love story started there, but it didn’t. Clint was too busy showing off his dance moves and Sarah….well she was dancing….or trying to at least. (Her moves are great, just not as good as his.)

Fast forward a few months to October 19th, 2019 and Clint is in Nashville hanging out with some friends. It was a good distraction from the fact that his Vols got destroyed by Alabama for the 12th straight year that day. When he looked up and saw his friends McKenzie and Cory, and they had a very special person with them - Sarah. This was finally his chance to meet the girl he couldn’t keep his eyes off of at their wedding. Clint didn't even seem to mind Sarah's Alabama shirt and Sarah had no problem talking trash about the game that had just occurred. They hit it off right away, but the night ended fast and they didn't end up exchanging numbers. As annoying as this was at the time, it turned out to be a blessing in disguise since God’s timing ended up being perfect, as always.

A quick 3 months later Clint decided to slide into Sarah's Instagram DMs trash talking Alabama after they had just won a National Championship. It didn’t take long for Clint to convince Sarah to go on a date with him. For the next month, every Thursday was date night and every Thursday was Clint’s favorite part of the week. Soon they became inseparable and spent every moment they could together. Also, this thing happened when we all had to stay inside for a while, so that helped too. Honestly, quarantine and Joe Exotic really brought this couple together. As the world around them seemed to be in chaos, they were each other's peace and both of their places to call home. That's why Clint knew it was time to tell Sarah he loved her, and it's the same reason why he eventually asked her to marry him.
