We were invited to a games night hosted by a mutual friend. Clint wore his favourite Tacoma hat which is what struck the initial conversation. We bonded over our shared truck taste, but never actually expected for this to turn into something... Well, at least Hannah didn't!
Two weeks after meeting, Hannah moved to Bracebridge to be closer to her work. Most will remember the house; the one known for its "character" as we called it... Crooked floors, dated paneling, and of course, the unforgettable housemates! Looking back on it now we agree that (unintentionally) becoming housemates was a very enlightening experience. In the 6 months we coexisted at the house on Stuart Lane we became very close friends. We must have realized that neither of us had any unbearable habits during that time because 1 week after Clint moved out, we started dating! No one could have imagined that the house at 32 Stuart Lane would lay the foundation for our relationship... Even if James says he knew the whole time!
On our one-year dating anniversary, we went on a day trip adventure to celebrate together. We paddled down the Muskoka river, went out for lunch, and reminisced about the first dates we went on as a couple. This all led us to Huckleberry Rock, where we went on our very first date as more than friends. Clint got down on one knee at the top of the rock, and with that steak dinner waiting for her back at Clint's place, Hannah couldn't help say anything but "YES!!!!"
