What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive by 1:45 PM. Ceremony will begin promptly at 2:00 PM.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Transportation will not be provided from the hotel to the ceremony. We recommend driving to the church, as ample parking is available on-site.

Question

Are we allowed to take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We invite you to be fully present with us during our ceremony, so we ask that all phones be turned off and put away until the celebration afterward. In other words, hang up and hang out!

Is there a dress code?

Cocktail or Formal Attire.

Where should I go in between the ceremony and cocktail hour?

Answer

We recommend stopping by Big Grove Brewery—an Iowa City favorite now in Des Moines! It’s the perfect halfway point between the church and the reception.
