A topic of much debate. We were introduced by mutual friends on December 26, 2013 at the Hoho Hangover Show (if you know, you know). While we didn't talk much at the actual concert, we struck up conversation at the after party in Clint's apartment. Numbers were exchanged, a first date was scheduled on January 1, 2014, and the rest is history.

As avid hikers, we plan yearly trips to beautiful places around the US. In 2023, we decided to head to Olympic National Park in Washington to do some hiking in the PNW. On the first day of the trip, after a mild panic attack where Courtney thought she left her phone in an Uber, we made it to a little brunch spot in Tacoma called Hob Nob. After carb loading on fried potatoes and biscuits, we made our way to Olympic National Park for our first hike - Mount Storm King. A grueling 2 mile trek directly up a small mountain with a 2,100 ft elevation gain. After cresting the top of the mountain after a true scramble, we could finally see the amazing views overlooking Lake Crescent. As Courtney was panting heavily and sweating like a sinner in church (and was thoroughly distracted by the view), Clint sneakily grabbed a random Gen-Z girlie and asked her to take some pictures. Needless to say, she nailed it. Clint snuck up behind Courtney and said offhandedly, "Hey Court!" in such a way that Courtney thought he was going to ask if she had remembered to bring some snacks. She turned around and Clint was on one knee! It was a magical moment followed by many more adventures around Washington as an engaged couple. We can't wait to celebrate on November 2nd!
