It all started working On Call. They had never met each other before, but they were both working On Call in October 2021, they had to figure out how they were going to get the children transported to school, while both having their own children to transport. That night all via phone, Deron learned of Dominique's compassionate and helpful nature and her willingness to work as a team and get the job done, no matter what. They begin talking on the phone after that, about work related things, then one staff meeting in January, they met in person. Deron was like oh wait she's cute and she's nice. From then on they began talking more and seeing each other more in person. Then on March 7, 2022, Deron shot his shot and kissed Dominique, and the rest was history. When Dominique told her best friend Karle, she was reminded that Karle had introduced Deron and Dominique briefly in 2019. She takes full credit for this match made in heaven. Then on the night of December 17, 2022, Deron proposed to Dominique at Brookside Gardens among the Christmas Lights and cool night air, she said, "Yes." Now they look forward to the next chapter of this story, where they say "I Do."
