Love often finds its way into our lives through unexpected paths, and for us, it began in the digital realm of competitive video gaming. From the moment we connected, we became fast friends, bonding over conversations about life, dreams, fears, and our mutual love for all things Pokémon. As months went by, we realized that our friendship had blossomed into something more, and the distance between us only strengthened our love. We knew we couldn't be apart any longer. In October of 2022, we took a leap of faith and closed the gap, with me traveling 1,700 miles to join my soulmate. From that moment on, everything changed for the better. There's nothing in the world that compares to finally being with your one true love. In October of 2023, against the breathtaking backdrop of Papago Park, we took another momentous step in our journey and became engaged as the sun set.
