Question

What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Answer

Formal for Women: Women have quite a few options with formal attire. This may include a pantsuit in a dressy fabric, such as silk, cashmere, or satin. A dress or dressy suit with a dressy top, with heels, strappy sandals, or dressy flats may also be worn. Sparkling gemstones, pearls, and dressy fashion jewelry are all appropriate. However, be careful not to overdo it, or you'll look more like you're in costume than formal wear. Formal for Men: Men should wear a conservative dark suit with a dress shirt to a formal event. A vest that matches the suit is optional. In most cases, a tie should be worn, but in some cases, it isn’t necessary. If in doubt, wear a tie. You can always take it off later. A belt that matches dress shoes and dark socks are essential. Subtle jewelry is appropriate.

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be outside. The reception will be in a tent located on the other side of the property.

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, the bridal party will be taking pictures nearby for around an hour. Guests can head straight to the cocktail hour area where passed hors d'oeuvres and beverages will be provided.

What should I do if I can’t make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We have a strict guest list to stay on budget. Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.

Do you have a hotel block for guests? Where do you recommend I stay?

Answer

Yes, we have 2 hotels blocked off for guests. If you select the travel tab that will direct you to the hotels we have selected.

Question

When is the RSVP deadline? Do I need to mail back my RSVP or can I do it online?

Answer

The deadline to RSVP is Aug 1st. Please respond with your RVSP online via our website. Submit simply by selecting the RSVP tab and entering your name with your response "Will attend" or "Not attend".

Will food and drinks be served at the reception? What kind of food?

Answer

Yes food and beverages will be provided at cocktail hour and the reception.
