The hotel is located around a 30 minute drive from SJU airport. While hotels in Puerto Rico, including the Wyndham Grand Rio Mar do not have shuttle services, we recommend one of these 3 modes of transit upon arrival and departure from Puerto Rico. - Renting a car is recommended for those who would like to further explore the island beyond the resort and wedding festivities. It is the best way to assure you do not miss out on all local hot spots and unique places that the island has to offer. - Taxi, Uber and Lyft (based on availability) can be hailed from SJU to and from Wyndham Grand Rio Mar. - Private van or bus transportation for families and larger groups can be reserved in advance of arrival to SJU. https://www.puertoricoshuttle.com/reservations offers reasonable rates for up to 14 passengers.
Cliff and Olivia plan to arrive at the resort no later than Tuesday May 3rd and will likely depart on Monday May 9th for their honeymoon!
No, all invited guests are welcome to attend our welcome party, wedding and Sunday brunch regardless of accommodations! However, the bride and groom highly recommend guests to stay at the resort in order for everyone to be together during the entire weekend and most importantly not have to worry about transportation back to other accommodations after the weeding reception or other wedding weekend activities.
