Madi and I have been friends for over 14 years. We played high school soccer together and became so close instantly. Madi has been such a present and strong person in my life throughout the years. She has been there for me in so many ways and I appreciate her more than she knows. There have been many laughs and many tears throughout the years and I’m so thankful those were spent with Madi, whether good or bad. We experienced many large life events together and I couldn’t imagine her not in my life. Even though we went to different colleges and live in different states we always try to make it a priority to maintain our close friendship and be involved in each others lives. I know our friendship will last forever and I wouldn’t want it any other way.

Sonja and I have been friends for over 11 years. Sonja was my first college roommate in Santa Barbara. We connected instantly and became best friends over night. I was so blessed to have Sonja be brought into my life. Her positivity, lovingness and compassion are some qualities that I truly admire about her. Sonja and I are polar opposites but in this case opposites attracted in the best form. Sonja and I have experienced so many large life events together from first years in college to studying abroad together in Spain. We always come together every year for our birthdays in October and I know our friendship will be lifelong.

Mikayla and I have been friends for over 16 years. We first met while playing soccer on a club team in middle school. We re connected during college and have been best friends ever since. Mikayla is truly someone that would drop everything and be here instantly if I needed her. She is truly a committed and lifelong friend. I don’t think I have ever laughed as much and shared as many inside jokes with someone as I have with Mikayla. We lived together after college and had so many fun times together. I love how spontaneous we are together and live up every moment with tons of laughter. I appreciate her true honesty with me always even when I don’t always love it. Mikayla is the type of friend that people wish to have and long to find.

Julia and I have been friends for over 8 years. Julia and I met after college in San Clemente CA. Julia is such a pure and intentional friend. She is always there for me and appreciates me as much as I appreciate her. Our friendship has grown so much over the years and I am blessed to have someone in my life like Julia. Julia started working for the same company that I work for back in 2022, which has made us even closer and I love to see how much Julia has grown within the last couple of years as well. We have always cheered each other on in life and helped each other through the hard times. I can’t wait to see where life takes us.

Julia and I became friends back in 2021 when she moved to San Diego from Austin Texas. We worked for the same company and met her first day in the office. I stalked her Instagram before she got to the office and found out she was also dating a SEAL. We instantly bonded over that. Before I knew it Julia and I became so close. We have the same personality and vibe off of each other so much. We can pretty much know what each other is thinking by just looking at each other. I couldn’t imagine my life now without Julia in it and I am so thankful that our paths crossed. Julia and I share so many laughs, inside jokes, and similar lifestyles. Julia is the type of friend where it’s always so natural and easy. She is so down to earth and is always her truest self. We support each other in so many ways and are always there for each other. She has truly become more like a sister to me and couldn’t imagine it any other way.

Claire and I have been friends for about 3 years. We actually went to the same college, UofI, Go Vandals! Even though we didn’t spend time together in college we both ended up in San Diego. We reconnected and the rest is history! Claire and I are so similar in many ways. We understand each other on many levels, which is so hard to come by these days when it comes to friendships. Claire and I are both workaholics and give everything our all. We set goals together and are intentional in our friendship. Claire has been such a staple friend for me in San Diego and I appreciate her presence, positivity, outlook on life and drive. Even though we are both very busy we always make time for each other and our friendship because it is so important to us and we both value each other so much. Everyone needs a Claire in their life. I know we will go far and do big things together!

Kristen and I have been friends for about 4 years. Kristen and I were both new to San Diego and we both gravitated to each other after meeting through mutual friends. Kristen is the happy go lucky friend that everyone wants. She is a yes girl and is there for you always. I love Kristen’s calmness, demeanor, and personality. She is someone who will always lift you up and take your side. I have loved watching Kristen grow in San Diego and so happy we could experience a new city together and call it home. Kristen is outrageously funny and always a good time. Kristen is someone that I know will be in my life for a long time and I appreciate her so much.

Brittany and I have been friends for about 3 years now. Brittany is the type of person that truly cares about you and your well-being. She is such an honest and deeply rooted friend. We are both workaholics and try our best to get together as much as possible but even when we can’t we always pick back up where we left off immediately. I appreciate Brittany’s fun loving attitude, positivity and support. She would drop everything to help you out in a time of need. I know that Brittany and I’s friendship will be a very long one and I can’t wait to experience even more large life events together. I admire her grit, drive, and balance of life. She is the type of friend that everyone needs in their life.

Megan and I have been friends for over 3 years now. Megan and I first met when she moved into the apartment right behind Cliff and I. At the time we didn’t think much of it and didn’t spend that much time together back then. Looking back on it that was such wasted time because we are so similar and connect so well. Megan and I have become so close over the years and I truly value the friendship that I have with her. Our friendship is so easy, fun and fluid. We always make an effort to be involved in each others lives and see each other often. We love long 3 hours walks with each other where we catch each other up on every part of our lives. I value that time with her so much, it is so rare to be able to do that with some people. Megan is hilarious, spontaneous, a beautiful person inside and out. I consider myself so lucky to have a friend like megan and I can’t wait to see where the years take us.

Mady and I have been friends for about 1 year. Even though we haven’t been friends for as long as the others it feels like we have know each other for years. Mady is the type of friend that everyone desires. She is smart, witty, fun, caring and so funny. I love any time that I get to spend with Mady and I feel like we grow our friendship even more after each time. She is someone that is so easy to talk to and connect with. We became friends because her husband was on Cliffs team and they deployed at the same time. We filled our time during deployment with many dinners, wine nights and events. I have learned so much about Mady, which has been so special for me. To know Mady is to love Mady. She really values her friends and knows how to be such a supportive and loving friend in return.
