One evening in December 2015, Lisa and Cliff swiped right on each other. They started chatting on tinder and when Cliff asked Lisa what she was doing on a Saturday night, she honestly answered that she was watching a tea documentary on PBS. They went out for sushi at Satomi the next night and Cliff told Lisa she was like the female version of Michael Cera. They kept hanging out and now they are getting married.

It was the third night at the Baha Mar in Nassau, and Cliff was acting very strangely during dinner. He hated the table where they were seated, disliked the meal, and kept complaining about every little detail. Lisa was on vacation so she didn't really understand why Cliff was so unhappy, and suggested they take a walk around the resort property after dinner. While Lisa thought their walk was aimless, Cliff had planned the proposal the whole time and wanted to walk out on the pier to pop the question. It was dark but very romantic, and Cliff slyly pulled the ring out of his pocket and said, "There is something I've been wanting to ask you." Lisa said yes and then shortly after told Cliff he was very brave to propose over OPEN WATER in the DARK OF NIGHT with a small ring while he was nervous and could have potentially dropped it.
