Cliff could not help but notice the pretty blonde girl sitting in the front row of his Psychology 322 class and it only took him half of a semester to think of a way to get her attention. Finally, with a little angst and courage, Cliff asked Dalina if she would give him some travel tips for his upcoming Euro-Trip (he never actually intended on going to Europe). Thankfully, Dalina agreed to help Cliff out by sending him a 3 page word document on transportation tips, cheapest places to stay, and the most popular sights throughout Europe. Cliff repaid Dalina’s kindness with some chocolate and a thank you card (this is still all it takes to make Dali happy 4.5 years later). The chocolates helped spark an invitation to a tennis match and countless campus dates after that. In case you were wondering, Cliff did end up going on that Euro-trip and he took the pretty blonde girl sitting at the front of his psych 322 class with him.
On a cold and windy morning in November, Cliff was supposed to be doing his favorite thing: duck hunting. His absence provided the perfect opportunity for Dali and her mother to have a girl’s day in New Orleans. To start off the morning, Poppa Hall set them up with a reservation for brunch at Commander’s Palace. Their mimosas and laughter were soon interrupted by cliff nervously weaving through the many tables. The whole restaurant quieted down as Cliff got on one knee. He could not get the words out of his mouth, but their tears communicated enough to know from that moment on they would be spending forever together.
