On his great grandmother's 103rd birthday, Christian made sure Lauren was dressed up for "family pictures". They made their way out to Smith Lake for the presumed birthday party. But Lauren, being suspicious and particular, made sure she was wearing exactly what she wanted to wear if she was getting engaged. Once they arrived, they walked down the pier lined with pictures from their time together and Christian had flowers for her. At the dock, Christian had blanket tied up that read "Will you marry me?". As a typically introduction to the Fields family luck, Lauren accidently ripped down the blanket and the shower curtain it was attached to. After a small scream and a panicked look- Christian went down on one knee and asked Lauren to marry him. With tears in her eyes she said yes- and it's about time! Here's to our happily ever after!
