We are finally doing this thing!

In February of 2012, Cley took over as a Resident Advisor in the Center Street Apartments at Georgia Tech and moved across campus. Her first Friday night on duty she got a call to break up a party. Chris Thorne (groomsman) was the RA on that floor and came to asist Cley. Over the course of the evening, she met his three roommates, Justin Southard (groomsman), Josh Wilkins, and Mike Saunders. According to Justin and Josh, Mike went back to their room and asked if anyone else thought the new redhead was cute... Mike spent the rest of that semester trying to get Cley’s attention, which he was so good at, the entire apartment building knew...except Cley! Eventually, Cley put her number in Mike’s phone the following fall. She called Ashley van Etten (Maid of Honor) the following day as she walked to her 8am class to discuss. Their first date was at Gordon Biersch. Mike had wanted to take her to Ecco, but he got lost. They split a cheesecake for dessert, but both were trying so hard to give a good impression, they barely touched it. Both Cley and Mike are still upset about this. Within 2 weeks of this date, the two were officially together and have never looked back.
