Yes! Visit the Travel tab on this website. The Maven Hotel is downtown Denver in a walkable area, close to public transportation and a ton of great city amenities! This is a great option for anyone who isn't renting a car. Transportation to/from the wedding will be provided from the hotel. The welcome event and wedding after party will be hosted at, or near, the hotel. If you would like a room but the room block is full, please let the Bride or Groom know. We can request to add more rooms based on availability.
Yes, there will be roundtrip bus transportation between the venue and The Maven Hotel in downtown Denver. Due to limited Uber/Lyfts available in the area, we recommend taking advantage of the transportation. An exact bus schedule will be shared closer to the event date.
Yes, there are parking spaces at the venue if you plan to drive to the event. You cannot park your vehicle overnight at the venue.
If you plan to use Uber/Lyft to arrive at the venue, you should not have any issues. However, it can be difficult to get a rideshare to pick you up at the venue after the reception ends.
Our venue, The Blackstone River Ranch, is a stunning tented property nestled into the mountainside and sits at 8,200 ft elevation. In Colorado, especially the mountains, the temperature changes noticeably once the sun sets so we recommend bringing something to keep you warm in the evening, or head to the dance floor! The property grounds are a mix of woodchip, open grass area, pebble stone, and concrete.
The dress code for the wedding will be cocktail attire: suits and elegant dresses are welcome. Dress in your best and join us for a night to remember!
We respectfully request that our wedding be an adults-only event. While we love your little ones, we appreciate you making child-care arrangements so you can celebrate with us! For our out-of-town guests, children may join us for the welcome event.
When it comes to drinking alcohol, the altitude will lower your tolerance so please keep this in mind when enjoying the weekend festivities. Drinking a lot of water and staying hydrated is recommended.
The Bride + Groom have opted for an unplugged wedding, meaning we ask all guests to please keep their phones stowed away for most of the evening, especially the ceremony. This will allow everyone to be fully present and also allow the professional photographer to get the best shots possible without interference.
Bartenders will ID guests at the bar.
