A love tale as old as time...We initially met on the dating app, Hinge! After Kim made the first move, we talked for weeks, going from small talk to outlooks on life in no time. We met in person on 2/11/2020 at Bar Chloe in Santa Monica. After bottomless conversation (and Moscow Mules), we went from the first 2 in the lounge to the last 2 getting shooed out. Freshly kicked out, we walked across the street to North Italia to eat dinner because we both were having so much fun getting to know each other. Giggling over a few more cocktails and a fantastic bolognese, we realized we were the last 2 standing yet again, closing out our tab as the staff were putting chairs up on tables. After a lovely evening and walking Kim to her car, Brian knew he had to leave a...trademark...final impression. They drove off separately and pulled up next to each other at the first traffic light, where Brian noticed Kim was right next to him. He signaled for her to roll down her window, and then said, "Hey, you're pretty cute. Can I get your number?" The light turned green, he drove off giggling, and Kim left endearingly confused by his sense of humor. But it worked! First date led to second, third, and fourth date, and we had a month to get to know each other before COVID happened and the rest is history! We knew our connection was different once quarantining couldn't stop us from seeing each other. Fast forward and our North Italia date is coming full circle for us as we plan to say "I do" in the beautiful lake region of Northern Italy!
