It all started when my mechanic asked if I wanted to go get dinner sometime. My response…. “Yeah, maybe!” The rest, as they say, was history. Five years later: endless adventures, countless Disney trips, a home filled with love and fun, laughter every single day, and let’s not forget the chickens! In many people’s eyes, we already seem like an old married couple, but I suppose it’s time we officially made it official!

We plan to have an official, private ceremony on our property with just immediate family.

We are very casual and want a laid-back celebration that’s more of a gathering than an “all eyes on the bride and groom” event. In order to make that happen, we are going Cookout Style! Don’t think of this like a wedding - that’s not what we want. Think of this like a backyard barbecue and neighborhood potluck where we just so happen to be celebrating two people getting hitched. Bring food to share if you want, but don’t feel required. There is a like to a spreadsheet (obviously - it's me after all) in the FAQ section to put down what you'd like to bring. We will have burgers and dogs, sodas and snacks. And Auntie Jeanne’s Famous Chocolate Chip Cookies (Mum, if you’re reading this - THANKS, and sorry I didn’t warn you in advance!) We want to invite ALL our family and friends to celebrate with us in a relaxed atmosphere at our favorite place - our home. BYOB and come however you’re comfortable! Jeans and T-Shirts are encouraged to help keep it casual!! We will be on the lawns around our property. This is an outdoor event that will take place rain or shine.
