Zion National Park
Zion National Park is about 3.5 hours south of Alpine, UT off of Interstate 15 and 2 hours north of Las Vegas.
Bryce Canyon National Park
Bryce Canyon is very unique with nonstop views of the hoodoos. The Navajo Loop Trail and Queen's Garden Trail are unforgettable, but start at the crack of dawn. Watching the sunrise over the canyon before starting the hike is worth rising early.
Park City
We love to snowboard in Park City, but the unique shopping and dining opportunities, drive north 1 hour to experience historic Park City.
Antelope Island State Park
We love to watch the sunsets at Antelope Island. The 2025 Antelope Island Bison Roundup is scheduled for October 26, 2025. This annual event, held at Antelope Island State Park, features over 200 horseback riders rounding up the island's 750 bison. The roundup is a way to manage the bison population and ensure the island's ecological balance.
Homestead Crater
For a unique geothermal spring experience, 1 hour east from Alpine hidden within a 55-foot tall is a beehive-shaped limestone rock you can take a dip with a therapeutic soak.
Timpanogos Cave National Monument
If you want to go underground, 10 minutes east of Alpine is an underground wonder.
Alpine Loop Scenic Byway
If you want a scenic drive through the mountains, we love to drive the Alpine Loop because no two trips are alike.

Strap Tank Brewery is one of our favorite local restaurants.

If you want great Mexican food, everything on the menu is the fabulous!

This restaurant is a favorite and really has the feel of the old west. We highly recommend the bison burger trio!
