“For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.” (Jeremiah 29:11) Both of us have walked through uniquely bitter trials in life, yet the hand of the Lord was always upon us, guiding and carrying us through. God sustained us both through darkest nights of the soul. Then in His perfect way and timing, He led us to each other, once again proving Himself faithful in his sovereignty and care. Our hearts, lives, and union are His first and foremost, dedicated wholly to the One who loves us most truly. Our adventure together, with Him, an unspeakable blessing. The Lord’s providence, kindness, and goodness have been so evident through all our lives. It is our joy and honor to be joined before Him in marriage, to seek and serve Him to the end of our days.
