"I Wanna Grow Old With You"

Clem saw my profile on an upcoming singles event and he messaged me: "there's an event going on near your hometown and I hope to see you there". I never responded, but reviewed his profile and saw cute dimples, kind eyes and black cowboy hat! My friend Donna had agreed to be my "wingwoman" and accompany me, so we ventured on to the event, sat near the back and Donna said, "he'll never find you back here. Let's move to the front!" Reluctantly, I followed her near the stage, barely sat down and saw Clem coming straight towards me. He stayed by my side all night. I guess he knew it before me, but when we left the venue, neither of us were single again from that evening on.

I remember after talking with Clem for hours, we made it to the dance floor and I asked" you're one of the really good guys, aren't you?" I just had this overwhelming feeling that he would love me forever. We left the singles event that night as a couple and have been together ever since.
