This story began in middle school. Andy and I were both in sixth grade, I thought he had the most dreamy voice and I went relatively unnoticed. I could only muster up the courage to say 'hi' in the library. He didn't know it at the time but that was one of the hardest things I could do to just say something to him. He would nicely say hi back, but since one of my friends had a crush on him... well middle school rules are just strange. Life went on and we went to the same high school and even college up at CVTC. Five more years passed along and we so happened to see each other and talked at Walmart in Black River Falls. The next day I received a text from a mutual friend asking if I was still single and someone wanted to meet me. My reaction was 'tell me who it is and I'll let you know'. Found out it was Andy who was interested. The middle school girl in me was elated. A few more days passed by and we ran into each other again at Walmart. He felt awkward asking for my number at my work place, so he was trying to find me in a quiet moment. Didn't happen much there. He saw I was helping in check out and almost ran a couple people over to get into my line first. I remember one of the older guys said 'It looks like you want to get in his more than I do, so go ahead'. Well I gave him permission to ask my number from our friend and the rest is history. First date at the end of January and been head over heels ever since. Some things you just know even if you are twelve.
