This is one of Eric and Danielle's favorite little breakfast spots. It's pretty small and gets very busy on the weekends but if you're looking for some good coffee in a cute neighborhood (right by Eric's high school by the way!) check it out.
Rockefeller Plaza
Since it will be the holiday season, if you are in the mood to check out the skating rink, lights show or the Rockettes, Manhattan is a quick PATH ride from downtown Jersey City or Hoboken.
White Star Bar
One of Eric and Danielle's favorite local joints to get a burger at. There are actually two locations, both are fantastic options for a delicious lunch or dinner!
The Archer
If you are looking for an awesome specialty cocktail, look no further than The Archer right in downtown Jersey City.
Fox & Crow
If you love some live music and funky decor, check out this bar/restaurant a quick 5 min away from Danielle and Eric's apartment.
Bowl-Rite Lanes
One of Eric and Danielle's favorite date night spots...when we say cheap/dumpy/old school bowling...we mean it. If you are just looking to kill a few hours and knock down a few pins and a few 3 dollar beers, this is your place.
The High Line
If you happen to get a sunny day, a quick train or bus ride to the west side of the city will get you near the Highline which is a great place to take a walk while checking out some Manhattan sites such as the newly completed Hudson Yards. Take a stop into Chelsea Market if you'd like to shop or snack, or get off at Cookshop, a fantastic restaurant Eric once worked for where you may spot a celeb or two.
Liberty State Park
A great place to see Lady Liberty from or enjoy a nice walk or bike ride on a sunny, calm day.
