We recommend Delta because they have the most available flight times, nonstop options (to Mexico City) AND allow for a free carry on, so if you do not wish to check a bag in, this allows for you to still be able to bring plenty of items with you (and trinkets if you desire)!

We recommend flying either of these two airlines if you are flying from CDMX. They fly directly from Mexico City to Acapulco, please take in account, that they do charge for carry-on luggage and checked baggage. If you do fly, the airport is further from accommodations and events, so please keep that in mind.

Flight

United AirlinesUnited Airlines

There are NO direct flights to Acapulco from Atlanta. You will have to either fly to IAH (Wednesday and Saturday only). Washington DC or Newark (both fly only Tuesday and Saturday) and from there, you could fly directly to Acapulco. United Airlines are the only airline to provide these flights.

If you do not wish to fly once you’re in Mexico, you may take a bus from there. ADO provides ample options and they are quite comfortable and inexpensive. They do not charge for baggage. If you want to drive directly from the airport please select “aeropuerto llegadas nacional” and ONLY select Acapulco costera for your destination. If you select riviera diamanté, that will be at the airport and it is a longer distance from the area we will be hosting all the events. Please take in account that all prices are in Mexican Pesos.
