Wrigley Field
The Cubs are in Washington that weekend but if you want to stick around and see them play the Padres the following Monday or Tuesday (idk I'm not pulling the schedule back up), go ahead! Otherwise, walk up to the park and take a look around; it's still pretty cool to look at from the outside!
United Center
It's technically possible a playoff game will be happening that there. I'm a wedding website not a damn fortune teller.
Kelsey's
If we're not staying in on the weekend, we are probably going to this bar. There are many bars. This is the one we like best.
AMC River East 21
If we are not staying in or going to Kelsey's, we are probably seeing a movie here. I've taken the liberty of looking at movies scheduled to be released in early April so imagine how much easier it will be for you to do the same a handful of days prior.
Lincoln Park Zoo
We like to go to the zoo. I like to yell insults at the peccary because it doesn't realize it's just a pig pretending to be something it's not.
Trader Joe's
This is literally across the street from the hotel. I'm not recommending Trader Joe's so much as to let you know, this place exists and will give you food and alcohol in exchange for money.
Walmart Neighborhood Market
This is a short walk from the hotel. I'd imagine you are familiar with Walmart, but if not, I am letting you know that you can buy stuff here AND you can do so more cost-effectively than at Trader Joe's.
Stan's Donuts & Coffee
Good donuts. Decent coffee but I'd go ahead and splurge on the Starbucks across the street. But do get the donuts.
