As of right now, our wedding is continuing as planned. We are monitoring the current covid situation in our area. At this point our venue requests that guests either 1) show proof of vaccination or 2) show proof of a negative test within 72 hours of the event. We apologize for the inconvenience but want everyone to be safe. Let us know if you have questions.
We're going for a cocktail look. Feel free to dress as fancy or as laid back as you'd like. Keep in mind our ceremony will be held at a Catholic chapel. Our only request is that you wear something other than white, as that's Katelyn's color.
Unfortunately we are not inviting kids to the reception. We want this to be a stress-free event and for parents to celebrate without worrying. Kids are welcome to attend the ceremony. If you have any questions or need to set up childcare, please don't hesitate to give us a call.
Since covid, our hotel is no longer offering their shuttle services unfortunately. We recommend carpooling or taking an uber/lyft to the reception if you can. Everything is located within a 7 mile radius from each other.
Yes! We are registered through zola, and a link to our registry is provided on this website. We also have a honeymoon fund, as we've lived together for a few years now so we have a lot of essential items already.
There will be a "welcome party" from 7-9pm on Friday evening at Murphy's Irish Law. There will be specialty drinks and it will be a good way for the families and friends to meet each other before the big day.
Katelyn is from New Hartford, NY and Dan is from Horseheads, NY. Both are small towns that we truly love, but there's not much to do in either place. We met in Rochester, NY and live together here now. We love our city and want to showcase it! If you show up a little early and want to explore what we love about Rochester, feel free to visit some of our favorite places, listed under the "Things To Do" tab on this website.
We will be sending out invitations as the wedding date gets closer, and we will provide information about RSVPing then. If you already know you can't make it, please let us know as soon as possible so we can give our venue coordinator an idea of how many people will be coming.
Please contact us for any other questions or concerns you have!
