I first met Daniel in University Singers in college. After persistently asking me to join Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia (I was stubborn), I finally committed and became Daniel’s little brother! Daniel has played an important role in my life, being a big brother, a mentor, and even a colleague. We are both choir teachers in the same district and enjoy hanging out, catching soccer matches together, and singing with one another.

This person had the luxury of an AWESOME (aka annoying) little sister, Courtney. Although our personalities clashed growing up, she was and still is so supportive of everything I do! Nowadays, she agrees I'm actually a cool person to hang out with! I'm so happy to call Jess my sister and a great friend!

This guy...I have known him for quite a while. His whole life! Corey is my brother, and surprisingly we got along very well growing up together. Corey has been such an incredible older brother, always being so supportive and helpful. He once gave up his birthday to drive my band and I to one of our out of state gigs. Unfortunately, the tires blew out on the trailer and we got stranded. I still owe you for that one, bro!
Mackie Thomas

On the first day of college, I kept calling Mackie, Maggie, on accident and she didn't correct me until the next day! After that day, we became great friends and helped each other survive music education and bassoon together while being college roommates for 3 years! We have been by each other's side through the best and most difficult times. I'm so thankful for Mackie (and her baking abilities)!
Cale Smith

Cale and I became best friends on the first day of first grade! So many great adventures together! We’ve been bros and have kept in contact ever since. Our older brothers are good friends as well, so it made it easy for carpooling to school. We also got to work together at the Canebrake for a short period of time, Cale as a Sous Chef, and Tyler as a Bartender.

Amanda came into my life through Tyler, and I'm so happy she did! She keeps me company when we watch the boys sing at church, watching soccer games, assisting choir concerts backstage, and much more! She shows me daily what a happy marriage looks like and has been there to talk me through many challenging life events!

Where to begin? Derek is certainly like a brother to me. We have been friends since middle/high school, meeting each other in band. We have been in several bands together over the years, most notably Flagship and Upland. Derek has kept me up late countless times on a school/work night, because...donuts.

Jess and I met in college as well. Both music education majors, both bad at aural skills, and both very "tell it like it is" people! I love that about her! Her and her family have hosted me many times when going to see concerts in Texas, searching for jobs and taking interviews, and much more. I'm so thankful for our growing friendship through the years!

Brandooo! We met through a mutual friend, Derek Smith. Brandon quickly became a close friend (like family) of mine. Brandon has been one of the most supportive, passionate, and caring friends I’ve had in my life! He has selflessly shot many music videos and pictures (including our engagement photos).
