How to get to Lucca:
Flying:
Florence and Pisa are the closest airports (30-45 minutes away from Lucca)
You can also fly into Rome or Milan (3 hrs away from Lucca) and take the fast train (Frecciarossa) to Florence.
If you fly into Florence or Pisa you can take a train into the center of Lucca
Transportation In Lucca:
We suggest renting a car for convenience. There is very limited public transportation in the area.
We will be providing transportation from the Lucca city center to and from all the official events on Saturday and Sunday (see below for details)
Where to stay:
We suggest staying inside the walls of Lucca. It is a lovely walkable city and this is where the transportation for the wedding and welcome party will pick guests up from.
