This love story began in 2014. On February 17, 2014, Kenny and Erica found themselves sharing an impromptu day together. Little did they know, the universe was conspiring to gift them one of the most cherished memories of their lives. Even though they didn’t know much about one another, they both instantly realized they enjoyed each other’s presence and a friendship started to grow. From that day forward, they spoke daily and shared weekends together for months doing what they love the most, having fun with one another. Later that year in August, the monumental event that sparked their blissful relationship happened. They attended the “On The Run” tour, and everyone, except them, knew that day would be considered their official first date. At that concert, under the rain drops, they shared their first kiss and the fireworks exploded. For them, that moment was the beginning of something special. Over the years, their love grew immensely. They experienced multiple milestones and adventures with one another, laughing, crying and crafting their epic saga. They both knew they had found their person. The only question left was when were they going to take the leap into marriage? In October 2022, Kenny decided the two would take a magical trip to Disneyland to celebrate their favorite holiday, Halloween. As they waited in line to take pictures in front of the park, Erica in her true impatient fashion wanted to skip the photo op and get right to the rides. Little did she know, Kenny had something special planned for this moment. As they took photos, he dropped to one knee and proposed at the Happiest Place on Earth. Overjoyed with emotions, Erica accidentally slapped the ring out of his hand, causing him to scurry to find the ring, and re-ask the question they both wanted to hear the answer to for years, “will you marry me?” Of course she said yes, sealing the deal with a promise of forever.
