It all started during Tina’s junior year and Clayton’s senior year of high school, when we were introduced by a mutual friend, thanks to Clayton’s adorable pug, Star. What began as casual exchanges of cute dog photos soon turned into real-life hangouts and a growing friendship. Even after Clayton left for Baylor University, we stayed in touch. Encouraged by her friends in high school (and now bridesmaids!), Tina asked Clayton to a girl-asks-guy dance, and he made the trip back just to be her date. After this, we started spending more time together with friends, often meeting up at a favorite late-night spot called House of Pies. Those group hangouts became some of our favorite memories, and it's where Clayton’s family says our "meet-cute" really happened, the moment he realized he was interested in Tina as more than just a friend. When Tina later chose to attend Baylor as well, everything started to fall into place. From that point on, our relationship continued to grow through school, life, and everything in between. By the time we get married, we’ll have been together for nearly 10 years. Growing up together and making it to this moment feels so incredibly special and we wouldn’t have it any other way.
