When should we RSVP? Para cuando tenemos que avisar?

Answer

Please RSVP by May 1, 2026. If you are able to RSVP before then, please do. You just need to go to the RSVP page of the wedding website, enter your name, and your party should come up. Por favor avisen sobre su asistencia a la boda antes del 1o. de Mayo. Nada mas vayan a la pagina que dice "RSVP", pongan su nombre y les va salir todos los de su familia que fueron invitados. Elige "Will attend" si van a asistir a la boda o "Will not attend" si no van a asistir.

What if I can’t make it? No voy a poder ir...

Answer

You will be missed, but we completely understand. Please RSVP “no” as soon as possible so we can plan accordingly. Los extrañaremos, pero entendemos completamente. Por favor avisen que no van a asistir a la boda en la pagina de "RSVP". Pongan su nombre y les dará la opción de decir no.

Can I bring a guest? Puedo traer a un invitado adicional?

Answer

We are blessed to already have a large list of family and friends to invite. All invites listed the number of people that are invited, names of which can be found on the "rsvp" tab of the website when you search your name. What is the dress code? Como es el codigo de vestuario?

Answer

Semi-formal if you want to put a label on it. Wear something nice, that makes you feel confident and beautiful/handsome, but also something you'll be comfortable in. And yes your beautiful summer dress can have some white in it hehe… I promise I don’t care lol (-the bride). The parking lot of the venue isn't paved, and there are some paved walk ways throughout the venue but not everywhere. For men, we suggest some nice dressy-ish pants like khakis and a nice short sleeve button down. For women, we suggest a flowy dress, skirt, or cute pants and whatever else completes the outfit. El codigo de vestuario es semi-formal. Se pueden vestir en algo bonito que les hace sentir bellos/bellas y cómodos a la misma vez. Y si, su vestido puede tener un poco de blanco jaja les prometo que no me importa (-de parte de la novia). El parqueo esta sin pavimentar incluso hay otras areas del local sin pavimentar. Aun así hay algunas areas donde se pueden encontrar caminos pavimentados. A los caballeros como ejemplo les recomendamos un par de khakis y una camisa manga-corta de botones. A las damas como ejemplo les recomendamos un vestido fluido o pantalones bonitos y cualquier otro articulo de ropa que complementa su atuendo.

What will the weather be like? Como estára la temporada?

Answer

June is usually mid 70s to 80s throughout the day then cools down to 60s to 70s when the sun goes down. There is always potential for rain, but you can check weather for Kalamazoo, MI or Gobles, MI closer to the date. THE CEREMONY will be held outside even in rain, so please come prepared. En Junio la temperaturas estaran entre 70 y 80 grados en el dia y se baja hasta 60 grados con el atardecer. Please check the travel tab on our website. We suggest Kalamazoo, Wayland, South Haven, or Grand Rapids. I know we are still a while away, but it doesn’t hurt to keep up with prices in this economy. 😅 Consulta la pagina de "Travel" en el website. Te sugerimos Kalamazoo, Wayland, South Haven o Grand Rapids. Wayland es el nombre de la cuidad donde vive la familia Yanes Palacios y Grand Rapids es donde vive la Familia Chicas para que sepan en el area donde prefieren quedarse. Grand Rapids esta a una hora del lugar donde sera la boda y Wayland esta a 40 minutos mas o menos. 😅

Will transportation be provided? Va ver transportacion?

Answer

We are not providing transportation to and from the events, but the ceremony and reception are in the same location and there is plenty of parking available. The venue is located in a rural location, so lyft and uber are not available. No estaremos ofreciendo transportacion. Y la boda es en un lugar mas o menos campo, so no hay uber ni lyft disponible. Pueden rentar carro o hacer carpool con familia que este serca o quedandose en el mismo hotel.

Will there be enough parking? Va ver suficiente parqueo?

Answer

Yes! The venue has plenty enough parking! Be aware that the parking lot is not paved, so be prepared for shoes to get a little dusty. Sí, el local tiene bastante parqueo. El parqueo es de tierra entonces toman en cuente que los zapatos tal vez se les ensucien un poquito.

Yes of course! They should be listed on the "RSVP" tab when you look up your name. If they are not listed, please contact Rebeca Yanes (Bride's sister)-616-690-9360. Please remember, however, that this is not our personal facility so kids should be monitored constantly. And yes, if you'd like to make this a date night event, we totally understand too. Si! Los nombres de los ninos deberian salir cuando usted busque su nombre en el "RSVP". Si no ve el nombre de su hija(o) por favor mandenle mensaje a Rebeca Yanes (la hermana de la novia)-616-690-9360. Recuerden que este no es nuestro lugar, so por favor mantengan un ojo a sus hijos en todo momento. Y si quieren hacer el evento una noche sin hijos, tambien entendemos jaja.

What will the schedule be like for the wedding? Cual sera el horario del dia de la boda?

Answer

4PM - 4:45PM...Ceremony will be Faith based and outdoors (I will get back to you on how much sunlight there will be) 4:45-5:15PM...Formal picture (photographer) with Bride and Groom then find assigned seat for dinner time! 5:30 PM...Tables dismissed for dinner (buffet style, indoor and outdoor seating) 6:30 PM... Bar opens for champagne only. 7:00 PM... champagne toast, thank you 7:15 PM... First Dance! 7:30 PM... Bar opens for other drinks. Dancefloor officially open! Outdoor activities open! 8:00 PM... Cake Cutting 9:00 PM... S'mores station open! (late night snack) 9:30 PM... PG-13 Dance floor begins. 10:30 PM... last call on drinks. 11:00 PM... lights on, goodbye!

What's the food and drink situation? Que estara en el menu?

Answer

We are doing American BBQ - grilled chicken legs, beef brisket, mac n cheese and garlic mashed potatoes! Drinks will include agua frescas (pina and horchata), coke, pepsi, mt. dew, root beer, and water of course! The bar doesn't open until 7:30PM for alcoholic drinks. There will be a couple signature drinks, beer, and seltzers available and served until 10:30PM.

When does the reception end? Will there be an after party? A que hora termina todo?

Answer

The reception is scheduled to end at 11PM. There is no scheduled after party, but if you're staying in Kalamazoo and can get a small group together, Clayton and Nathalie have put together their favorite bars to hop around downtown in the "Things to Do" tab of the website. Todo termina oficialmente a las 11PM. Las luzes seran ensendidas y comenzaremos a limpiar.

Additional Rules and Expectations per Venue! Reglas y Expectativas Adicionales Del Local!

Answer

No smoking or vaping in the barn. There are designated areas outside the barn area, but Clayton and Nathalie prefer for their wedding to be smoke and vape free. Lights on, music off by 11PM! Mixed drinks only and must be served by the bar tenders due to insurance purposes. No outside drinks/bottles/flasks permitted including water bottles. (Baby/Child bottles are not included in any of this) Guests that are found to be carrying their own alcohol will be asked to take it to the bar tender, their car, or asked to leave. Any items left behind/found will be held for 48 hours only. No se permite fumar ni vapear en el granero. Hay zonas designadas fuera del granero, pero Clayton y Nathalie prefieren que su boda sea libre de humo y vapeo. ¡Luces encendidas y música apagada a las 11:00 PM! Solamente se permita bebidas mixtas, servidas por el bar del local por cuestiones de seguro. No se permiten bebidas, botellas ni termos externos, incluidas las botellas de agua. (Los biberones no están incluidos).
