Transportation - Veteran’s Memorial Park aka the gazebo

For guests staying in the village or nearby Veteran's Memorial Park AKA the Gazebo Shuttles will be provided for guests who would prefer not to drive, and fit 15-17 people. Shuttles will take you back to the gazebo at the end of the night. Guests are welcome to park at the Ludlow Colonial Motel and can get their car first thing in the morning. The Ludlow Colonial Motel's sign says Fox Run Motel. So you'll enter Ludlow Colonial Motel (or the address below) into your maps and then park at the motel with the Fox Run Motel sign. Veteran's Memorial Park Address: 1 High St, Ludlow, VT 05149 3:00 pm - first shuttle pickup 3:20 pm - second shuttle pickup 3:40 pm - last shuttle pickup The ceremony starts promptly at 4:00 pm!

Are kids invited?

We kindly request that our wedding be an adults-only occasion, with the exception of children from the immediate family of the bride and groom. We want to ensure a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere for all guests, while also recognizing the importance of having our closest family members with us on this special day. However, we do understand that making arrangements for children can sometimes be challenging, and we are more than happy to provide assistance in finding suitable childcare services or recommending trusted babysitters for those who require it. We want all of our guests, including parents, to be able to fully participate in the festivities without any concerns. We appreciate your understanding and support in respecting our wishes for an adults-only celebration, with the inclusion of children from our immediate families. We look forward to celebrating with you and creating lasting memories together.

How do I get groceries?

One important item we should mention is that due to the flooding a few weeks ago in Ludlow the (only) grocery store, Shaw's in Ludlow is not open. However, there are a few options for you all to get your groceries. 1. Go to Shaw's website and order your groceries as a curbside pick-up order. https://local.shaws.com/vt/ludlow/213-main-st.html 2. Get your groceries at Singleton's in Proctorsville. This place is very small (and Vermonty) and can run low on food on the weekends. It's a general store so you can get your basic groceries, clothing, liquor, maple syrup, and tchotchkes. https://singletonsvt.com/ 3. Do your grocery shopping prior to getting to town. There are gas stations in town so you can get your very, very basic grocery items there.
