We're getting married!

Clayton and I are highschool sweethearts. During highschool, we both had secret crushes on each other for the longest time. It wasn't until Clayton sent the first Facebook message in 2012. After that, we started going on dates and quickly found out we had the best times when we were together. You just know when you found the right one. Now we are engaged and couldn't be more excited to spend forever together!

We were on our annual Gunflint trip with our friends, and on this particular day we were fishing at our annual spot. I made fun of Clayton at one point, because he couldn't sit still. But that's typical for him. Clayton asked everyone to get together for a group photo to document our annual trip. Now, I didn't think that was unusual at all...because I love capturing photos during trips. I was excited someone else besides me wanted to take pictures. Also, this is our annual fishing spot. So it just seemed right to capture a group photo We took self-timer group pictures. I took photos of our friends. And they took pictures of us. That was when Clayton got down on one knee. It was absolutely perfect...private, on a lake, in nature.....it couldn't have been more "us" We connected to our cabin's WiFi that night and video-chatted our families. After the celebratory calls were made, we turned our WiFi off and celebrated with a bottle of Champagne, drinks and dinner.
