Looking for a great breakfast spot? Benedict’s is one of our favorites. They’re best known for their delicious eggs Benedict, but they also offer a wide variety of breakfast options to choose from. It can get pretty busy, so we recommend joining their waitlist online ahead of time to snag a spot.
Looking for a spot for a fancier dinner? We love The Toasted Frog. We highly recommend starting with their cheesy pickle fries as an appetizer. They also serve Kallie’s favorite drink—a raspberry lemon drop martini. It’s a great spot and definitely one we highly recommend!
We love golf season, and one of our favorite courses in the Fargo area is Rose Creek. The course is known for its challenging layout, with water hazards and bunkers on 16 of the 18 holes and out-of-bounds potential on 14 holes—definitely a test of your game. That said, the beautiful views of South Fargo homes, scenic water features, and well-maintained fairways and greens make it an enjoyable experience no matter how you play.
Bowling, arcade games, food, and drinks—Kingpinz is one of our favorite ways to spend a night out in Fargo. They offer a unique bowling experience with modern lanes, fun lighting, and a great atmosphere. The arcade is packed with a wide variety of games, making it fun for all ages, and their food and drink menu makes it easy to spend the whole evening there without needing to go anywhere else. Whether you’re looking for a casual night out or something more lively with friends, we highly recommend Kingpinz as a fun and entertaining spot in Fargo.
Village Green offers a complete golfing experience with 18 holes and a top-tier practice facility. The course features three sets of tees for all skill levels, water hazards, and bunkers. The practice area includes a driving range, putting green, and short-game area. The course is open daily and is ideal for both fun and skill development.
Rustica is one of our favorite date-night spots. We love going during happy hour, when they offer $5 off starters and $10 pizzas. We highly recommend starting with their meatballs—they’re a must-try. Rustica serves delicious wood-fired pizzas with a wide variety of flavor options, and their drink menu is just as impressive, with plenty of choices for everyone. It’s a great spot for a relaxed yet elevated night out.
Nichole’s Fine Pastry & Café in downtown Fargo is more than just a bakery—it’s a true destination. They offer handcrafted meals for breakfast, brunch, lunch, and dinner, along with artisan pastries, custom cakes, and signature cocktails. A beloved local favorite for over 20 years, it’s a spot you can’t miss. We highly recommend trying any of their pastries—you really can’t go wrong.
Craving some ice cream? Silver Lining Creamery is one of our favorite spots. They serve homemade ice cream with seasonal, rotating flavors, so there’s always something new and exciting to try. We love the wide variety of flavors—from classic favorites to more creative combinations—all made fresh. It’s the perfect place to stop for a sweet treat any time of year.
