Nethercutt Museum
Hey, do you like cars and trucks? They've got all kinds of vintage vehicles! Also, for some reason, a lot of music boxes and phonographs! Because when you're a private museum, you don't answer to ANYBODY. (Heads up, this is about a 30 minute drive from the hotel)
The Getty
Gorgeous art museum, overlooking West L.A. Free, but make a reservation in advance. (Worth it, but 30-60+ minutes from the hotel)
Galco's Old World Grocery
This place has thousands of kinds of sodas. Apple soda! Celery soda! Serrano pepper soda! We're weird, but we like this place.
Museum of Neon Art
Small but very cool! Learn something, take a selfie, see some plasma, you can do it all!
the Village Bakery and Cafe
If you like brunch, delicious pastries, and knowing that you can pet cats at a pet adoption center a block away (Santé D'Or, 3165 Los Feliz Blvd, pop in and look at those cats), this is your #1 stop.

Dim sum!!! Get the green beans, some xiao long bao, pork buns, just get everything and be happy forever.
