Cocodrie is one of Louisiana's great coastal communities. Its distance from any big city give it a laissez-faire attitude and an abundance of good times. Michelle and Clay hope that you choose to stay locally if possible, invest in the community, and share good times with family and friends during your stay in Louisiana's coastal paradise. Cocodrie is located 90 minutes from the New Orleans airport, 2 hours from Baton Rouge, and 75 minutes from Morgan City. For those living in South Louisiana, a day trip is possible, but lodging for the night may be more palatable. Keep in mind that Cocodrie is 20 minutes from the nearest grocery store, and is home to only one restaurant: Coco Marina. However, most overnight lodging in Cocodrie comes equipped with a full kitchen, and quality local seafood (shrimp, crabs, oysters, and/or fish) will likely be available at this time of year.
