It's the fall of 2020, season two of the pandemic. Clay's in grad school in Rhode Island, and Maddie's working like 12 jobs while living at home in Plainville...but they still have time to swipe on Hinge. Clay compliments Maddie's smile, Maddie gives him her number, and a few months later they're enjoying a Jane Austen-esque romance: socially distanced hikes, burrito picnics in India Point Park, FaceTimes every night, and a lot of longing. Finally, they spend a weekend together in Rhode Island, and the rest is history. Maddie and Clay have tried every breakfast sandwich from Somerville to Brookline, made memories all across New England, and decided to say, "I do," shortly after moving in together in Dedham...well, really, it was after Clay went on a work trip overseas and realized he couldn't wait another day to pop the question. Maddie, of course, was tired of hearing about the "2028 Target Timeline" and was ready to lock it down. We can't wait to celebrate with you. Thank you for being part of our wedding!
