Question
When should I book my hotel/stay?
Answer
We cannot encourage you enough to book as soon as possible! It is common for people to book one year in advance in Newport. Once the summer season begins in May, prices rise significantly. Some hotels may require a 3 night minimum stay given the holiday weekend, however, many only require a 2 night stay.

When should I plan to arrive?
Answer
All guests are invited to the Welcome Dinner on Friday August 29th and the Wedding on Saturday August 30th. Please plan accordingly. We would love to see you at both!
Question
What is the dress code for the wedding?
Answer
Black-Tie Optional. For men, suit and tie or tuxedos. For ladies, long dresses (ankle or floor length) are preferred, colors are encouraged. Please note, the bridal party will be wearing sage green. While this is a formal event, we want everyone to feel comfortable. Please keep in mind that the venue is located on the water and ocean breezes will be expected.

What is the dress code for the Welcome Dinner?
Answer
Cocktail attire. Think polished but fun — suits or blazers for the guys, and cocktail dresses, jumpsuits, or any outfit that makes you feel confident and comfortable.

Will there be transportation throughout the weekend?
Answer
Yes - shuttle service to and from Saturday's events will be available. Please stay tuned for more information! Free parking is available at the Newport Beach House on Friday and complimentary valet parking will be available at Castle Hill Inn.

Am I allowed to bring a plus one?
Answer
Your invitation will specify if you can bring a guest. While we would love to accommodate everyone, our venue has a strict capacity limit.

Are children invited?
Answer
Although we would love to have children at our wedding, we have decided that only immediate family children will be in attendance. Thank you for understanding!
Question
Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?
Answer
Our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour will be outdoors on a grass lawn. The reception will be held under a permanent tent structure with paved floors.
