What Should I Wear?

Answer

Black Tie Optional - For the evening, formal attire is encouraged. Gentlemen may wear tuxedos or darker-colored suits, and ladies may choose gowns, cocktail dresses, or elegant separates.

What do i do if I need assistance getting up the stairs?

Answer

Any guest wanting to avoid steps will need to access through the back entrance/chair lift. In order to do this, they will park in a Handicapped Parking Spot in Rear of Building (if available and if they have a placard). Someone will then need to come inside to get the Manager on Duty and lower the lift to get them inside the main level of the venue. They then will walk up the ramp to the Ballroom or use their own (or the venues) walker.

Yes! We have a room block at the UNCC Marriott Hotel on campus. Please look under the "travel" tab for more details on how to book your room under our block.
