Stop by the local farmer's market before the festivities begin! Surrounding towns also hold their farmer's markets or flea markets on the weekends, including Waterbury (Sat), Stowe (Sun), Burlington (Sat), Champlain Islands (Sat), Richmond (Fri), and Capital City/Montpelier (Sat).
This nearby village has all the essentials - including the best taco place (in our opinion) The Mad Taco, Lawson's Finest Liquids (we'll have it at our wedding!), and Big Picture Movie Cafe where you can eat tasty foods while watching the latest film.
Adam's go-to ski resort! Ski season will be over by then (we think), but Sugarbush has much more to offer - gondola rides with fantastic views, hiking for all levels, mountain biking, pools, and numerous lodging options. Their grocery store/deli, Paradise Provisions, has our favorite breakfast sandwiches.
Also known as "Vermont's Main Street" or the "Skiers Highway", the Scenic Route 100 Byway is an absolutely gorgeous drive if you want to take a cruise during your time in Vermont. It passes through the Green Mountain National Forest, and some of Vermont's cutest towns, including Dorset, Killington, and Warren.
Our favorite swimming hole! It might be chilly but the jump is worth it. This is a very popular hangout spot for locals, with areas to picnic and relax by the beautiful falls.
It's beautiful, the camping is free, and the nature is undivided. Go take a hike!
The iconic Camel's Hump is just a short drive away! With a few different routes, find yourself on the hump!
It's waters are almost 100 feet deep and it spans over 800 acres. You can camp along it's shores, boat, swim, fish, and more. Access it from Little River State Park, Blush Hill Road in Waterbury, Waterbury Center State Park, or at the Cotton Brook Canoe Access in Stowe. It's the area's little slice of paradise.
Yes, it's here. The one and only Ben & Jerry's Factory!
Follow VT-100 to the quaint and iconic Stowe area!
