Things To Do

There are a lot of things to experience in and around Copenhagen. Here we have gathered an overview of things in Copenhagen. If you want to venture outside of the city we also recommend a day in Malmö (Sweden) which can be reached by train (50 min), the Viking ship museum and the cathedral in Roskilde as well as the art museum Louisiana in Humlebæk and Hamlet's castle Kronborg north of Copenhagen and Arken in Ishøj. If you want to rent a car and explore more of what Denmark has to offer, we recommend stopping by Odense to see the childhood home of Hans Christian Andersen, continuing on till Billund for a visit in the LEGO Idea house and the original LEGO Land. Denmarks second biggest city, Aarhus, is also worth a visit, with its museums (AROS, Moesgaard and Den Gamle By). Finally, further north you can visit Camilla's hometown Aalborg and Skagen at the top of Jutland where two oceans meet. If you are looking for recommendations in Jutland, please reach out to us.
