Torrey Pines State Natural Reserve
Hike the cliffs of Torrey Pines - good for any hiking ability. Beautiful views and classic San Diego spot!
San Diego Zoo Safari Park
We can't recommend the Wild Animal Park (aka Safari Park) or Zoo enough. They are both spacious parks, beautiful for a nice walk and amazing for animal viewing. If you go, we'll probably go with you!
The Beach!
This is the site for Bagels on the Beach (wedding edition) but also a great place to hang out any day! 15th St. has the lawn option, a playground, plus plenty of beach space and great restaurants nearby. This is also just a couple miles up the road from Torrey Pines if you want to combine it with a hike!
Balboa Park
Balboa Park, downtown, is filled with museums (some are free!) and is adjacent to the zoo. Sometimes there are street performers, and the museums are awesome!
